Thom was born and raised in Detroit/“the Big D”/Motown/Motor City. He and wife Jeanne and daughter Molly have alled Overland Park home since 1999. Thom says, "We love it here! From Blue Valley Schools to great Universities to the music entertainment and recreation venues to the restaurants and shopping areas to neighbors, friends and sports fans! We’re excited for Kansas City’s growth from downtown to the outer limits of the I-435 loop! Because of its diversity, Alice 102 is a dream radio format for me and I hope it expands into all aspects of our “music lovers’” world including: rock, pop, blues, folk, indie, alternative and vintage classics!"
